Our facilities can accommodate weddings, receptions, children and adult parties, tours, fundraisers, music performances, dinner theaters, meetings, conferences and more.

The Center for Southern Folklore will:

- Provide Catering through the Center or through our approved caterers. We tailor cocktail parties, rehearsal dinners, family reunions, luncheons and dinners to accommodate your special needs. These include multicultural, Kosher and vegetarian specialties. 

- Provide or rent tablecloths, silverware, napkins, plates, utensils, and more. 

- Book the best entertainers this area has to offer, including DJs, singers, bands, and duos. We offer Blues, Jazz, R&B, Rock, Country, Reggae, Latin/ Salsa, Zydeco, folk selections, and more!

- Schedule talks about music and the region given by Memphis’ own cooks, musicians, dancers, artists, craftspeople, and talkers.

- Assemble unique southern gifts specially packaged for your event

- Produce tour group meal (and music) packages. Including business breakfasts, luncheons, and dinners.

 

THREE UNIQUE CATERING FACILITIES

Located in the Pembroke Square Building at Peabody Place, 119 S. Main Street, the Center provides three unique catering facilities for your special events, meeting and parties.  Each area offers a different atmosphere, from the sights and sounds of the Folklore Hall to the Folklore Store to the elegant dining on the Rooftop Patio.
