Please click the TOUCH icon on the right to view the selected artifacts.

The films that Rev.Taylor made were not produced in a vacuum.  After filming a bank opening, church gathering, or school event, Rev. Taylor would later show the edited film footage to the featured group.

3.  Untitled Film Script for Henderson Business College
Rev. Taylor merged his abilities of writing and filmmaking in a film he produced about Henderson Business College.  The untitled script includes the details of the school's courses and social activities.  The Taylor Collection contains many sequences filmed for this documentary which we believe was produced in the fall of 1947.  Sequence No. 10 in the script states:  This is Evelyn Miller, the spirit of the 1947 Cotton Makers' Jubilee. Mrs. L. G. Wilson, her sponsor and Mr. Houston Braswell, her manager are shown with Miss Miller.  Miss Miller goes to New Orleans in February, 1948, in her official capacity to represent the Jubilee at the New Orleans Mardi Gras.
