You're always welcome to visit The Folklore Store (123 S. Main) - which
is much more than a store! It's a gallery of original and unique art
and specialty items where you can shop and learn at the
same time. It's a place where you can grab your morning coffee or have a southern snack (like Miss Ella's
homemade peach cobbler), hear
about everything that's happening around here - and play Colonel
Tommy's Bingo card! In the evening come back to the Store to have a beer, hang
out and listen to some great music. Take a look at our on line store
to get a little taste of what's "in store" for you. Brown Bag Lunch Concerts
in the Store Thursdays & Fridays 12-1 Bring your lunch - or buy ours - and listen to real music every Thursday and Friday to sweeten the end of the week for free! Stop by the Center or see our Now On Stage page to find out who's playing this week. "Brown Bag" your own lunch or try one of the Center's authentic Southern dishes - meat or meatless chili, vegetarian greens, hot water cornbread and peach cobbler - all prepared by Center cook Ella Kizzie.
