MUSIC FOR LUNCH!
The music is free and you can bring your own lunch or buy ours - every Thursday & Friday 12-1 ! 3/27 Friday: Tori Sparks Nashville Singer/Songwriter Tori Sparks calls Nashville home, but spends most of her time on the road in the U.S. and Europe, playing an average of 180-190 dates each year. Called "a knockout" by the Village Voice, her dynamic live show is equal parts raw soul and strumming mixed with zany stand-up-style humor. Tori Sparks' show has been a marked success in listening rooms in Nashville, theaters in Cork, clubs in L.A., coffee houses in West Virginia, art houses in NYC, pubs in London, juke joints in Florida, and more. This is one fearless chanteuse who makes the audience her own in any setting. In 2008-2009, Tori was featured at the Folk Alliance here in Memphis as well as Bele Chere, American MusicFest, and many other conferences and festivals. Tori's third album, The Scorpion in the Story was produced by David Henry (R.E.M., Ben Folds, Josh Rouse, Cowboy Junkies). See www.torisparks.com or www.myspace.com/torisparks for more about Tori Sparks. What's for lunch? Local
