Producer/Singer/Songwriter

Since establishing Inside Sounds in 1992, Eddie Dattel has been the catalyst in the creation and development of the Memphis Archives label along with Inside Memphis, Inside Sounds Classic and Psychorock Record labels.  He has production credits on nearly fifty CD releases in a variety of genres and has contributed significantly to the careers of several Memphis artists including The Daddy Mack Blues Band, Sandy Carroll, Billy Gibson, The Memphis Sheiks and others.  On his debut recording Sketches & Revelations, Dattel steps beyond the circle he normally occupies and surrounds himself with many of the musicians he has worked with over the years.  The songs themselves are well-crafted and melodic reflections on love, luck, life and his hometown.  They represent the perspective of a singer-songwriter willing to keep it simple while at the same time refusing to keep his heart out of the mix.  http://cdbaby.com/cd/eddiedattel
