MUSIC FOR LUNCH! The music is FREE and you can bring your own lunch or buy ours - every Thursday & Friday 12-1! 8/27 Thursday: Tori Norton Singer/Songwriter
Her
given name is Victoria Norton; but friends know her simply as Tori.
She grew up in Arkansas, and after graduating college, headed out to
Colorado. There she immersed herself in the world of original music,
open-mics, and coffee shops. With the support and encouragement of her
friends there ‑ and a little courage on her part ‑ she pushed herself
on to the stage. Tori's journey eventually led her to Memphis with the
aim of nurturing her music and creative side. Tori's music has a hint
of blues, a little folk, and a little rock, or as she calls it, FROCK. She counts local performer Barbara Blue as a mentor, and since childhood her musical hero has been Wynonna Judd. As Tori puts it, "I feel like these two powerful women sing from their souls. It's my mission to try and do the same."
