MUSIC FOR LUNCH!
The music is free and you can bring your own lunch or buy ours - every Thursday & Friday 12-1 ! 02/19 Friday: Charlie Cheney Contemporary Singer/Songwriter
Charlie
Cheney's best
songs dance around one primary theme: conflict and the choices people make
during times of stress. He wraps alternately haunting and bouncing
melodies around everyday images such as bill collectors on caller ID, lawn
chairs left out in the rain, bulging tattoos, and toupees filled with bar
smoke. His big break came at the Steel Bridge Songfest in 2006 when he
was "discovered"
by Jackson Browne and Pat MacDonald. There he exploded onto the
songwriter scene with his scathing workingman's sing-along Palmer Johnson
Yacht and the equally joyful summer anthem She's Made For Sunshine.
