03/04 Thursday: Taylor Bothwell Singer/Songwriter Taylor Bothwell is a 14 year old singer/songwriter living in
Memphis, Tennessee. Taylor has
been writing lyrics since the age of 11 and putting them to music since getting
a guitar for her 13th birthday. Her songwriting skills belie her age. She is the youngest member of the
Memphis Songwriters Association and has performed over the last year on the
singer/songwriter stage at the Delta Music Festival. Taylor was awarded a scholarship to the International Folk
Alliance Festival in Memphis this year where she performed in four separate
showcases with professional singer/songwriters and has attracted the attention
of the Nashville Songwriters Association International. Upcoming performances include the Cheer
for Kids benefit for St. Judes Hospital on March 7, and Earth Day at Shelby
Farms on April 25th.
What's for lunch? Local
and Touring Single/Duo/Group Acts will Perform Blues, Soul, Rockabilly,
Bluegrass, Jazz, and Folk - just come by and find out who's playing. "Brown Bag" your own lunch or try one of the Center's authentic
