Kick off Mardi Gras with the 1st Annual Mumbo Gumbo Cook-Off Sunday,
March 6, 2011 at the Fillin Station Grille & Southern Thunder Harley
Davidson Plaza, with all proceeds benefiting the 10,000 children and
families served by Porter-Leath.
The Gumbo Cooking Contest is
sure to be a sellout! Over $1,000 in prizes will be awarded. The winning
team will also receive a free entry into the 19th Annual Rajun Cajun
Crawfish Festival.
In
addition to over 5,000 pounds of crawfish, the family-friendly event
will have a variety of food, drinks, and merchandise available to the
public. No outside beverages or coolers allowed. Sorry, no pets.
The
Mississippi Swamp, our rooftop terrace VIP party, is sure to be the
most popular spot of all. For $40 per person (or 75$ for 2) you get
access to the roof, unlimited crawfish/cajun food buffet, FREE draft
beer and happy hour prices all day. Tickets will go fast! To order
