It is especially hard to distinguish yourself from the pack of blues bands in a town like Memphis.  That is, if you're not The Bluff City Backsliders.  This energetic and often hilarious band provides listeners with what they themselves aptly describe as "high-powered, hip-shaking, barrelhouse hoodoo music."  Known for making people dance, whether seated or standing, The Bluff City Backsliders are back for yet another of their signature performances at the Folklore Store on Saturday January 28th at 8pm. 

Perhaps the best thing about this band is that there is truly something in their music for everyone.  They perfectly explain that, with their unique sound, there is "Something archetypal in the band's music thrills music lovers of all kinds, old and young.
