label, Retriever Records, will perform a benefit showcase at the Center
For Southern Folklore this Saturday July 14, 2012 at 8pm. Retriever
Records is a cooperative label for local songwriters. Founded in
2002, the label features local writers Bryan Hayes, Jon Dillard, Rice
Drewry, Kenny Hays, and Dave Twombly. RR has released eight full-length
CD’s, and is currently touring in support of the most recent CD
“B-Sides, Demos & Lies” (March 2012). Saturday’s
show at CSF is a fund-raiser/benefit, with all proceeds going to CSF.
The showcase will feature Bryan Hayes, Jon Dillard, Rice Drewry, &
Kenny Hays. The writers will perform “In The Round”, with all writers on
stage together and alternating songs. RR caters primarily to Americana, but it is also firmly rhttp://southernfolklore.com/administrator/index2.phpooted in Folk and Roots-Rock. |
