PREVIEW OF THE INTERNATIONAL BLUES COMPETITION

Two of the outstanding blues groups appearing at this year's International Blues Challenge set up shop at the Center for Southern Folklore Store for an advance peak at this year's competition.  Seattle-based guitarist/vocalist Son Jack Jr. with his partner Michael Wilde on harmonica kick off the fun at 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, February 4 with the Israeli blues band CG and the Hammer taking the stage for the nightcap.  Admission is $6.00.  The Center for Southern Folklore Store is located at 123 S. Main Street @ the Peabody Place Trolley Stop in the heart of Downtown Memphis.
