Food

Food isn’t just something you eat down South. It’s why family and friends gather to share stories, jokes and enjoy each other’s company. While Festival cooks demonstrate how to prepare dishes such as greens, hot-water cornbread and peach cobbler, others share traditional foods such as Choctaw fry bread or Hebrew Challah which have been passed down through generations. Tradition bound but still ever-changing, the many palettes of Memphis are represented at the Festival by dishes like Chinese Fried Rice, Italian biscotti and international salads.

Food vendors from some of the cities finest restaurants and food trucks will be represented as well.
