This photograph shows the original promotional poster for the 4th Annual Memphis County Blues Festival and First Annual W.C. Handy Memorial Concert. The poster was designed by Memphis artist John McIntyre. In the 1960's blues revival concerts became popular by showcasing many blues musicians who were first recorded in the 1920s and 30s in the South.
