Before Stax Recording Studio closed in 1978 the Center’s photographer in the early years of the Center, Robert T. Jones, Jr., took this photograph of the Stax Marquee. A treasured time in Memphis Music history and a great image.

Center produced CD featuring Memphis Music legend Joyce Cobb who performs selections she sang in the Center-produced travelling music show of the same name. The CD includes gospel to blues to rock and roll.
